Relaxin' like a Gator on a Log
One of the things I love about the Sunshine State is the abundance of these babies right here. In Northeastern North Carolina, our alligators grow slower due to the colder climate, but alligators during their earlier years can grow as fast as 12 inches, each year, for the first 3 years of their life. Once they reach 6 ft they are usually sexually matured and this can take about 10 years in some locations.
This one has a little bit more to grow before they start making baby gators of their own, but obviously until then they’ll be big chillin’
